To set up your legal entity profile, fill in your company details using the verification form on the Company – Complete setup page.
This is one of the steps required to activate your company.
When you select Verify company, a new page will open with 3 steps to complete.
Tip! Your progress is saved automatically, so you don’t need to finish everything in one go.
Step 1
In Step 1, enter your company name and select the country where it’s registered.
A company search form will then appear.
The system will try to find your company automatically. If it isn’t listed, or the details from the registry are incorrect, you can enter the information manually.
A form with prefilled company details will then open. Review what’s there and fill in anything that’s missing.
Important! If the country doesn’t have states, enter “Not applicable”.
Step 2
In Step 2, add information about the people in your company’s corporate structure – the ultimate beneficial owner, the shareholder, and the director.
Important! For each person being verified, the section opens in a separate browser tab.
Please keep the main verification section open until every check is complete – otherwise your information won’t be saved and verification won’t go through.
Here’s who you’ll need to add in this section:
Ultimate Beneficial Owner – an individual (or individuals) who owns 25% or more of the company’s capital, or who has significant influence over the company even without holding a stake or shares.
Founder / Shareholder – a legal entity or individual who owns shares or a stake in the company’s capital. An individual who owns 100% of the shares or stake is automatically also the company’s Ultimate Beneficial Owner.
Director / Managing Officer / Manager – the person responsible for managing the company. This can also be the Ultimate Beneficial Owner, the Founder, or the Shareholder.
For each person, a separate window will ask for their first name, last name, date of birth, nationality, and ownership percentage.
If the same person is the Ultimate Beneficial Owner, the Founder, and the Director, simply check the matching box when adding them – you won’t need to enter the same details more than once.
Important! You need to list every Founder and Shareholder, and you need to fill in all 3 roles – otherwise verification won’t go through.
Heads up! If you’re a sole proprietor, indicate that you are all three – the Director, the Founder / Shareholder (100%), and the Ultimate Beneficial Owner (100%).
Step 3
In Step 3, upload your company’s documents – proof of legal status and ownership structure.
Important! If your company has a complex ownership structure, you’ll need to confirm the structure all the way down to the Ultimate Beneficial Owners, not only the direct Founders / Shareholders.
The final step is confirming the identity of every related party.
For US-based clients, the next required step after verification is filling out a W-9 form.
You can find detailed information about the form, along with a download link, on the IRS website.
Once your company has been verified and all the forms are filled out, you’ll need to sign the offer agreement.
After it’s signed, your account will be sent for review.
