Registration in the service is not available for residents of the following countries and territories: Iran, North Korea, Crimea, Sevastopol, Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia.
A freelancer registers in the service by invitation from a client or independently.
Account creation takes place in 4 steps according to the diagram below:
After registration, you need to complete your profile to access all Mellow features.
How to start registration if invited by a client?
To do this, follow the link from the email from [email protected] and start the registration.
If the client sent you an email with an invitation link, you can register only through this link.
How to start registration on your own?
To do this, go to the registration page in your browser and start the registration.
Or press the "Sign In" button, after which the "Sign up" button will be available at the bottom right.

Account Creation and Email Verification
Fill out the initial account registration form:
1. Enter your First Name and Last Name;
2. Provide a valid email address;
3. Create a password.
4. Mark checkbox agree to the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy.
Follow the password requirements: at least 8 characters, including at least one number, one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, and a special character from the list: !@$%^&*()_-+=/?\±§<>.
Click ‘Create Account’.
After that, confirm your email using the 6-digit code from the email we will send to the provided email address.
If the code has not been received, check the 'Spam' folder in your mailbox.
Click 'Resend' to send the confirmation code again.
Enter the code and click 'Confirm'.

After confirming your email, you will need to choose "How will you use Mellow?", choose "As a contractor". You will be redirected to your new Mellow profile.
Filling in Profile Information.
Important!
You will need to complete your profile to access Mellow's features.
Without completing your profile, you will not be able to, for example, accept a task or withdraw funds.
To proceed to fill out your profile, click ‘Complete Sign Up’ in the ‘Tasks’ tab or in the profile settings (the tab is located at the top left next to your name):

First stage of profile completion.
You need to specify:
1. Middle name (if available).
2. Date of birth.
3. Phone number.
The number is a unique identifier. It can only be linked to one account in the service. The phone number will need to be verified at this stage.
After pressing the 'Confirm' button, an SMS code will be sent, which you will need to enter in the corresponding 'SMS Code' field.
If the SMS does not arrive within 10 minutes, request the code again or look for a solution in this guide.
After entering the SMS code, the phone will be confirmed and proceed to the next step by clicking the 'Continue' button.
Second stage of profile completion.
You need to specify:
1. Citizenship.
Select the country where your passport was issued from the list. Do not specify the country of your residence permit, permanent residence, or other stay permits here.
2. Country of tax residence.
The country where you are considered obligated to pay taxes on income. This is usually the place where you live for more than 180 days a year, or where you have your center of life interests — for example, real estate, place of work.
3. Tax number/TAX ID.
Tax number in the country of tax residence. It is required to confirm that you are an active taxpayer. It is issued by the tax authority and is called differently in various countries: INN, TIN, CPF, and so on.
4. VAT Number (if available).
The number assigned to entrepreneurs for paying VAT when dealing with goods and services.
If you are unsure whether you have it, check your documents. If you do not have a VAT number, you can leave the field empty.
Third stage of profile completion.
Provide information about your actual residence address. Country, city, street, region, postal code. It's simple.
Tax information and your residence address are required for us to comply with the European DAC7 directive. Since Mellow operates in the EU, we are required to collect and store tax information about our users.
