Deleting an account

You can remove an added bank account from your profile so you can no longer select it for withdrawals. We recommend doing this if the account has been closed or if a payment was declined due to incorrect payment details. To remove an account, go to the Payment Methods section, find the linked account in the list, and click the red Trash icon next to it. In the window that appears, click Confirm. The account will then be removed from your profile.

Important information about Russian bank accounts

1) Only bank accounts opened in Rubles can be added. Accounts opened in foreign currencies cannot be used for withdrawals.

2) Only a personal bank account can be used for withdrawals.

This is because all payment details, including the Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) specified in your profile, are verified when sending funds. If you send funds to an account that is not yours, we cannot guarantee that the receiving bank will accept the payment. If we receive information about a payment reversal, we will return the funds to your Mellow balance. Refund from the receiving bank may take several banking days.

3) Bank account numbers beginning with 40914810 are unavailable for withdrawals. This type of account typically refers to virtual bank cards or e-wallets, so they are not suitable for bank transfers using the details provided by the service. If you have such an account, we recommend checking with your bank to see if they can open a standard personal account for you, which will begin with 40817810 or 40820810. In the future, we plan to add support for withdrawals to Russian e-wallets.
