Revtag is a unique username in the Revolut system that allows you to send and receive transfers without sharing your personal information. Revtag appears under your username in the Revolut app.
This payment method is available to all users, except for freelancers based in Russian Federation.
Important! If you have an Offer Agreement with FRWD Limited, a Hong Kong legal entity, you must add your VISA/Mastercard bank card number or IBAN (SEPA) account number opened with Revolut instead of Revtag. To add these methods, click the corresponding button in the Payment Methods section (instructions for adding a card or SEPA account).
You can check your current Offer Agreement in your Mellow profile, in the "Documents" section.
Linking Revtag as a payment method:
Go to the Finance page of your account, Payment methods tab.
Click Revtag (Revolut). A confirmation code will be sent via SMS or messenger.
Enter the code from the SMS or messenger. This will open the secure Revtag linking terminal page - visible only to you.
In the secure terminal please enter the details:
- Revolut account holder name: The name of the Revtag holder, exactly as it appears in the banking app;
- Revtag: Must be entered exactly as it appears in the Revolut app (case-sensitive). It can be written with or without the leading @;
- IBAN: The account number in IBAN format to which your Revtag is linked. You can find it in the banking app.
After reading the Offer Agreement, click the checkbox to agree with the service’s Terms of Use.
Click Link. The added Revtag will appear as a payment method on the Finance page under Payment Methods.
Payment currency:Payments to Revtags are processed only in euros. Therefore, if you have funds in US dollars or Rubles, they will be automatically converted to euros at the exchange rate, which is available on the Finances page on the right, under the Balances tab.
The US dollar withdrawal option is currently being developed and will be added soon.
