Once the freelancer has finished the work and submitted it, it’s your turn to review it and pay for the offer.
How to Tell the Work Is Ready
When the freelancer finishes, they submit the work for your approval: the offer status changes from In progress to Client review, and a notification email arrives at the address you gave us when you signed up.
Important: A freelancer may finish every task in an offer and the status will still read In progress. That means the offer hasn’t been completed, so the work isn’t ready for you to accept yet. If the freelancer has already sent you the work, ask them to complete the offer – the status will then change to Client review.
You have 15 days from then to review the work and either accept it or send it back for revisions. After you accept the work, one step is left: pay for the offer, and the contractor gets the money.
How to Review the Work and Pay
Log in to your account at mellow.io.
2. Open the Offers section and find the offer by its number.
3. Choose Accept or Request revision.
If you’re happy with the result
Select Accept. The freelancer gets a notification, and the offer status changes to Pending payment.
Then select Use your balance. The money goes to the freelancer’s Mellow account, and they can withdraw it to their payment method.
If the result needs revisions
Select Request revision. The freelancer gets a notification, and the offer status changes from Client review back to In progress.
Tell the freelancer exactly what needs fixing, so they have time to make the changes before the deadline.
