How to Add a US Bank Account

Step-by-step guide to Form W-9 and US bank account setup

Updated this week

To receive payments through a US bank account, you’ll need to verify your profile and complete Form W-9. Both steps are mandatory – US bank payouts won’t process without them.

Check these requirements first:

  • Profile verification status – click your name in the profile menu to see if you’re verified. Not done yet? Use this guide.

  • Form W-9 completion – covered in detail below.

Setting Up Your Bank Account

In your account, navigate to FinancesPayment Methods and select ACH (Everee).

Important! Your profile name and address must exactly match your bank account holder information.

Enter the SMS verification code, then provide:

  • Bank Name – Exact name from your bank statement or official website

  • Account Name – Full name as registered with your bank

  • Account Number – Numbers only from your bank statement (no spaces or dashes)

  • Routing Number – Your bank’s 9-digit routing code

  • Account Type – CHECKING or SAVINGS

Accept the terms and click “Link”.

Transfers process in US dollars only. Euro or ruble balances convert automatically using our internal exchange rate. Funds arrive within 6 business days.

Completing Form W-9

The system prompts you to fill this form when connecting your account or starting new tasks. Click “Fill out Form W-9” to begin.

Required Information

  • Name – Full legal name from your tax documents

  • Business name – Only if operating under a different name (DBA sole proprietor or single-member LLC). Leave blank for individual work

  • Federal tax classification of the entity/individual – Select your tax status:

- “Individual/sole proprietor or single-member LLC” – for individuals and sole proprietors without separate entities

- Choose corporation or partnership options if applicable

  • Partnership and LLC note: Check the appropriate box if you have non-US partners, owners, or beneficiaries. This requires Form W-8BEN-E instead of W-9 – contact support for assistance.

  • Address – Complete mailing address with street, city, state, and zip code

  • Taxpayer Identification Number – Provide one:

- Social Security Number (SSN) – for individual work

- Employer Identification Number (EIN) – for registered businesses

Finalizing the Form

Review the Certificate section carefully and check “I am not subject to backup withholding”.

Add your electronic signature to confirm information accuracy and that backup withholding doesn’t apply to your payments.

Review everything once more and click “Sign & Finish”.
