Account verification is the process of verifying your identity and your address. To verify your identity and address, you need to upload certain documents. To learn about the requirements for such documents, see Verification rules. In this article we have our recommendations for the freelancers from Bolivia.
Please note:
You need to take a photo of the original printed versions of your documents, and then upload them in JPG, JPEG, or PNG format.
All four corners of the document must be visible in the photo.
Photo should not be cropped or edited.
Electronic documents need to be uploaded in their original format (PDF), screenshots are not accepted
Verifying your identity
For the first verification step you can upload one of the documents:
Passport of Bolivia;
ID Card (CẾDULA DE IDENTIDAD);
Driver's license;
Residence permit;
International document of other country.
Verifying your residential address
To confirm your address, the document must contain your full name, address, and be issued within the last 6 months or have a valid expiry date. We successfully accept following documents:
ID Card (CẾDULA DE IDENTIDAD)
Please take photos of both sides of the document even if you've already uploaded it at the first step of verification;
All 4 corners of the document must be visible;
We don't accept scans or screenshots, so you need to upload a photo;
Please note that if the city is not stated in "Domicilio" field, then the document won't be accepted. In this case you can upload any other document from the list below.
Registration form from OEP
The document contains all the needed information, including your address;
You need to take a photo of the document so that all 4 corners of it are visible. If it's an electronic document, please upload it in PDF format;
Please note that the document must be issued within the last 6 months, otherwise it won't be accepted.
Documents issued by a Bolivian bank
Examples of documents: account statement, account opening agreement, bank certificate, bank reference, etc;
You can create the document yourself in the bank app, website, or contact their support;
Please note that the document must contain your full name, address, and be issued within the last 6 months;
You need to upload the document in PDF format or take a photo of the paper document;
Documents from the following banks have worked well previously: Banco Economico, BNB. But you can upload a document from any other bank as long as it contains all the needed information.
Utility bill or service contract
Examples of the documents: utility bill, cable Internet bill, television bill, landline or mobile phone bill, contract for the provision of any of the listed services. For example, documents from Cessa, Elfec, Entel, SAGUATERRA, TiGo have worked well;
The document must contain your name, address, the logo of the organisation;
The document itself must be issued within the last 6 months.
Residential lease agreement
The agreement must be written in typed English or Spanish language;
You need to upload photos of the pages with your full name, address, validity period and signs of both sides. If it's an electronic agreement, upload it as a PDF file and contact Support via chat so we check it manually;
If the agreement is valid, but was signed more than 6 months ago, contact Support via chat so we check it manually.
