Causes behind and ways to solve problems with text messages

Mellow uses SMS messages to send freelancers verification codes for authentication. These codes are used to confirm the following actions:

  1. Verifying the phone number upon registration.

  2. Adding a payment method.

Possible causes of undelivered or delayed SMS:

- The roaming service is on.
- Your SMS memory is full.

- The messages are being classified as spam.

If you haven't received an SMS code, try these tips:

  1. Verify that you've entered the correct phone number.

  2. Wait 15 minutes, as mobile providers may sometimes take longer to process requests.

  3. Restart your phone.

  4. Write in the support chat indicating your phone number, and we'll inform you on the SMS delivery status and help resolve any issues.
