Updated over a week ago

Account verification is the process of verifying your identity and your address. What is verification for?

To verify their identity and address, freelancers need to upload certain documents. To learn about the requirements for such documents, see Verification rules. In this article we have our recommendations for the freelancers from Uzbekistan.

Please note:

  • You need to take a photo of the original printed versions of your documents, and then upload them in JPG, JPEG, or PNG format;

  • All four corners of the document must be visible in the photo;

  • Photo should not be cropped or edited;

  • Electronic documents need to be uploaded in their original format (PDF);

  • Only non-handwritten, typed documents in Uzbek, English, or Russian are accepted.

Verifying your identity

For the first verification step, prepare the following documents:

  • Internal passport (green);

  • Foreign passport (red);

  • ID card;

  • Driver's license;

  • Residence permit.

Verifying your residential address

To confirm your address, the document must contain your full name, address, and be issued within the last 6 months or have a valid expiry date. We successfully accept following documents:

Fuqaro doimiy yashash joyi bo‘yicha ro‘yxatga olinganligi to‘g‘risida, qayd varag‘i (myGov)

  • Obtain the certificate (may require viewing the portal in a different language) or permanent residence permit on the Unified Portal of Interactive Public Services portal;

  • Please note, that the document must contain your full name, address, and be issued within the last 6 months. If you have older document, please request a new one;

  • Upload the document in PDF format;

  • The document can be accepted in Uzbek, Russian, or English language.

Driver's license

  • Please note that the document must contain your full address;

  • Take a photo, so that all 4 corners of the document are seen. The information on the document must be readable;

  • Back side of the document may be required;

  • Upload the photo in JPEG, JPG or PNG format. Scans are not accepted.

Passport's page with registration details

  • Take a photo, so that the registration stamp and the number of the document are both seen;

  • If you've uploaded a different document at the first verification step (for example, ID card), then you need to take a photo of the page with the address, and then a photo of the page with your photo and name;

  • If the address is handwritten, it would be recognized by the system only if it is readable. If the address is not being recognized, please use a different document containing your address.

Certificate of registration at the place of temporary residence

  • Obtain the certificate on the Unified Portal of Interactive Public Services portal;

  • The certificate is accepted in Uzbek, Russian, or English in PDF format;

  • If the temporary registration certificate is issued in paper form, take a photo of it and upload the file in JPEG, JPG, or PNG format. The text in the document must be fully readable.

Residential lease agreement

  • The agreement must be written in typed Uzbek, English or Russian language;

  • You need to upload photos of the pages with your full name, address, validity period and signs of both sides. If it's an electronic agreement, upload it as a PDF file and contact Support via chat so we check it manually;
